The Barkery
We started with the Barkery Grooming Parlour in 2002, renting a small space at a shopping centre.
We were incredibly blessed to experience great growth in clientele and had to look for bigger premises to ensure that we continue providing the service that our little furry friends love.
We are now centrally situated on the verge of Boskruin on the corner of Kowie Rd and CR Swart Drive (next to The Boskruin Vet). The Barkery is easily accessible from both Beyers Naude and Malibongwe directions.
We continue to provide an essential service to pet owners, as we have done for a number of years.
What we offer
The Barkery offers Collecting and Delivering pets for grooming (personally done by owner).
At our Pet Accessory shop, we stock to name a few: Dog and Cat food, Dog treats, Animal Health Care Products such as CBD oils, Biscuits and Paw Butter, Joint Care and Healthy Probiotics. Doggy Toys, Blankets, Jerseys, Pet Beds (Custom made Wooden beds made to size and style) Collars & Leads etc.etc.
Smart and caring owners will prefer to have their dogs groomed at the Barkery in Boskruin. This, is where the groomers treat each doggy as their own “child”, to the extent, where one happy new client commented: “My dogs have never come back so happy from a parlour. What do you do to the dogs? Did your groomers sing to them?”
Groomers ensure that each doggy client looks like a million dollars, after a grooming session under close supervision of the owner. No stress, no tiny cages, efficient service and lots of love!
